About the Golden Pothos
Golden Pothos (Epipremnum aureum) originates from the tropical forests of Mo'orea in French Polynesia, where it climbs tall trees using aerial roots. Its heart-shaped, glossy leaves display bright green coloring splashed with irregular golden-yellow variegation. Indoors it typically trails from hanging baskets or climbs moss poles, with vines that can extend several meters. Widely considered one of the most forgiving houseplants, it tolerates low light, irregular watering, and a range of temperatures, making it an ideal choice for beginners and offices alike.

Care Tips
Adapts to low through bright indirect light, though brighter conditions intensify the golden variegation. Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry between waterings; overwatering causes yellowing leaves and root rot. Average household humidity is sufficient, but occasional misting benefits the plant. Brown leaf tips indicate overly dry air or inconsistent watering. Prune leggy vines to encourage bushier growth. Propagate readily by placing stem cuttings with at least one node in water until roots develop, then transfer to soil.
