About the Baby Necklace
Crassula rupestris 'Baby's Necklace' is a hybrid succulent originating from South African Crassula species. It features tiny, thick, rounded leaves tightly stacked along slender stems in alternating pairs, creating segments that resemble a beaded necklace. The fleshy leaves are typically pale green to grey-green with blush-pink margins that intensify in bright light. Stems grow upright initially, then arch and trail as they lengthen, reaching about 15-30 cm. In autumn, mature plants produce tiny clusters of pinkish-white flowers. Its dainty, jewelry-like form makes it a charming addition to succulent collections and miniature gardens.

Care Tips
Provide bright light with some direct sun for the most compact growth and best pink coloring. Plant in a gritty, fast-draining succulent mix with pumice or perlite. Water only when the soil is completely dry -- the tiny stacked leaves hold moisture efficiently. Overwatering causes stem rot between the tightly packed leaves. Average to dry household air is preferred. Feed sparingly, 2-3 times during the growing season with a diluted succulent fertilizer. Stems root easily where they contact soil, making propagation simple -- just snip a section, let it callus, and insert into dry soil. Protect from frost.
